We are very pleased to have Professor Hiroko Hagiwara, an accomplished
scholar and teacher who works in the fields of Art History, Women's
Studies, and Intercultural Studies visiting UNC this semester.
Professor's Hagiwara's most recent book, Black-Struggles over Race and "Gaze"
was published in Japanese by the Mainichi Newspapers Company in
2002. She will be on campus from August 17 until November 14 and
during that time will be a guest lecturer and public
speaker. A schedule of events is forthcoming.
