The
Electronic Media Studio supports work in video, sound, interactivity,
and print. The facility contains ten Macintosh G4 computers as well as
various peripherals and production equipment. The studio uses a wide
range of software, including Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Max,
Director, Pro Tools, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, After Effects,
Illustrator, and a variety of support software. Production equipment is
also available through the
Office of Arts and Sciences Information Services (OASIS).
Undergraduates
who have taken Electronic Media (ART 106) or who are working on a
project that requires use of the Electronic Media Studio may use the
facility. Students who wish to use the lab to work on projects must be
under the supervision of a Department of Art faculty member. Graduate
students who have demonstrated competency may also use the facility.
To
request access to the Electronic Media Studio, students should submit a
short proposal describing their project to Susan Harbage Page at
susanharbagepage@gmail.com. The proposal must include the signature of the supervising faculty member.
