5 design project principles: this document is intended to aid webslingerZ customers in navigating the process of developing a project, acting as an initial communication between designer and client. keeping these principles in mind enables projects to be managed with the utmost efficiency, cutting time and cost while producing a highly optimized product solution.
simple. einstein said, "make things as simple as possible, but no simpler." this is a very good attitude to take when developing a project.

content. develop, edit and craft it before anything else. be brief and highlight the organization's essence; most users don't read very much text on a webpage. a designer should have all the content for the project in hand at the start of a project.
communicate. all ideas about a project [how it should look, feel, taste, smell, sound, etc...] should be communicated to the designer. design is often a very subjective thing and should fit the organization's personality. whitespace. it is a presentation's greatest friend: helping the things that need to stand out by giving the eye something to focus on. less "clutter" provides for a more professional look; busier presentations dilute the message. media. the web is a medium, like any other. for any organization with a website, it is best to be familiar with web standards. a good place for industry information is the World Wide Web Consortium: www.w3c.org
